Responsibilities:The OpportunityTo provide leadership & technical expertise to the Concentrate Quality groups in the area of sensory analysis.To ensure accurate & timely disposition of concentrate and raw materials.To possess the capability & knowledge to troubleshoot concentrate sensory issues & implement sustainable corrective actions.To ensure the effective implementation of Colonia plant Quality Strategy and other PepsiCo quality initiativesYour Impact
- Develop and sustain the sensory panel to ensure required levels of performance are met consistently (Recruit, screen and train new sensory panellists, Conduct refresher training sessions with existing panellists, Monitor Panel/Panellist Performance constantly)
- Maintain and sustain the sensory operations database.
- Ensure all instrumentation used in the sensory analysis of concentrates is validated and calibrated ensuring the highest accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and timely disposition of all manufactured products and raw materials
- Ensure all batch records are kept in accordance with PepsiCo protocol
- Trouble shoot finished concentrate sensory issues and liaise with operations in implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Support Vendor non-conformance
- Approval and Rejected products
- Research deviations found during the manufactured process.
- Monitored the corrective actions related of non-conformances related to manufactured products, follow up of CAPA plan.
- Participation in a Trial within laboratories.
- Personal Training of new employees.
- GMP & HACCP Audits, achieving the results of Audits.
- GCS: Control Owner - Responsible for the effective execution of the key control, measurement and passed the control.
- Comply with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, PWF and AIB requirements, achieving FSSC 22000 certification
- Report problems related with Food Safety and Food Defense management system, achieving AIB certification
- Internal Quality auditor
- Ensure compliance with HSE Local and Corporate regulations. Monitor compliance to EHS regulations, including the staff under his charge.
- Immediate Report of injuries, incident or accidents to direct supervisor to enable the communication process required in the legal framework and internal protocol.
- Implement operational and administrative controls to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses and environmental impacts.
Comply and promote compliance of corporate and local control policies.
Support internal audit exercises
Participate and ensure compliance with SOX requirementsSAP – (specify GBRs)
End UserSafety – Support the Plant program:
Complete the activities required in the Safety Calendar
Use PPE as required
Follow OSHA rules
Report all accidents and incidentsOffice Bargaining Contract and processes Qualifications:Who Are We Looking For?
- Advanced degree in Biochemical Knowledge.
- Training / experience in the implementation of GLP, GMP and HACCP.
- Proficiency in the English language - minimum medium level.
- Management Office tools
- Initiative, pro-activity, capacity for teamwork, good interpersonal relations.
Of R&D, PGCS Support Center and all PGCS manufacturing plants.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Advanced knowledge: SAP & Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
